Marriage Retreat

Marriage Retreat
Mark your calendar for the “With this Ring” marriage retreat. It will be held on February 27 – March 1, 2015 at the Olympia Resort & Spa in Oconomowoc, WI. Live Nativity

Mark down Friday, December 5, on your calendar!
This will be the night of our Live Nativity. We will be
having our Live Nativity right here on the church
grounds this year. So, come on in for some chili and
some Christmas delights and warm yourselves with
some wonderful fellowship. Chili will be served from 5:00 p.m. till as
long as supplies last. Our Live Nativity program will run three times
from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. There will be singing, fire pits, sheep, goats,
a donkey, and even a camel!

The Ladies’ Aid Christmas Potluck and meeting will be held on Thursday, December 4 at 12:00 noon. A program will be held in the School Commons beginning at 1:00 p.m. Please bring a large dish to pass and items for the Good Samaritan Program collection. Items to include are personal care items, paper products, cleaning items and food items.

Father-Son Retreat

Emanuel Father-Son Retreat November 7-9 Dad’s bring your son or sons in K- high school on a weekend they won’t forget! Each year we do a Father-Son retreat that builds memories that last a lifetime. This year we are holding it Nov. 7-9 with an optional night on the 6th. It will again be held at Heartwood Retreat and Conference Center. Joint Reformation Service

Joint Reformation Service "Have No Fear Little Flock” will be the theme for our Reformation service this year. District President Joel Zank will preach at the 4:00 pm service on November 2 at FVL's Auditorium. A choir of area WELS Pastors will join their voices in a choir. Mt. Olive congregation has agreed to serve refreshments following the service. Join us to celebrate the blessings of the Lutheran Reformation. This is a WELS United sponsored event.

LWMS Fall Rally

The Fall LWMS Rally of the Wolf River Circuit will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma. The theme is I Am the Good Shepherd, John 10:14. Pastor Peter Kesting from Zion, Readfield, will be sharing information about his trip to Zambia, Africa.

Book Fair

Fall Book Fair It's once again time for our fall book fair. It will be set up in the school music room. We have scheduled numerous times for you to see what we have available: Friday, Oct. 24 from 5:30-6:00 and 7:30 - 8:00; Saturday, Oct. 25 after the 5:15 worship service; Sunday, Oct. 26 between services; Monday, Oct. 27 from 9:00AM - 7:00 p.m. (Parent/Teacher Conferences in PM) Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 7:30AM-Noon We invite all congregation members to come and browse. We are able to keep our school library up-to-date because of the book fairs. Last year we were able to add $1200+ worth of books to our collection, just from book fair sales. We have many selections that would make wonderful Christmas gifts. Come check us out!
