Acceptable Use Policy
Every school needs to establish some acceptable uses for technology in the school.

It is intended to be signed by parents and students to show their support for how technology is to be used in a respectable way within the school, in keeping with Standard One that demonstrates technology as a blessing from God to our facility.
Technology Plan
Every three years a school technology plan should be written/revised to ensure continued growth and expansion of hardware, software, networking, and budgeting.  Approval of the plan must be done through the CPS office. Plans can be sent to Jim.Brandt@sab.wels.net. Approved plans must be on file if e-rate or other government funding is to be applied for at your school.

Technology Curriculum Prologue
The next section has two documents that together comprise the current technology curriculum of Emanuel. The first section is written in the format that matches all our content area curriculum documents. The second, more practical document, is in the form of a table of skills by grade level across all technology standards.  This document should be revised on a yearly basis.

Blank Yearly Plan Form/Example
The next section deals with technology lesson planning. The first link is a blank form for yearly planning, followed by a link with an example of the form in use. The idea is to integrate the use of technology skills from the curriculum into the core content curriculum.

The first is a blank form used for project planning. The second is an example of a tech integrated lesson for the classroom.

The Presentation and sample files can be downloaded from the side bar "Document Download" section. Choose the Category NWDTC2007 and download the files from there. There is also a document that contains all the links to internet pages that I discussed that day.
