Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The next Interactive Faith online Bible study will begin Wed., Sept. 3, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. (central) and run twice every Wednesday night through September.
Join Rev. Michael Quandt, pastor at Redemption, St. George, Utah, as he leads a study titled, “God’s Grace to Runaways–The Book of Jonah.” Quandt says, “A study of Jonah will always be current as we hurl headlong toward the demise of this world in its present state. Whether ancient Nineveh; modern day Los Angeles; or Sleepy Eye, Minn., there are souls whom the Lord loves and wants to know about his saving love. The book of Jonah allows us to face and confront the smug or distracted rebel inside each of us. That confrontation will show that we stand in grave need of the grace of God every day of our lives.”
The study will be streamed live online. You will both hear and see Rev. Quandt (and/or his visual aids) as he teaches the course. There will be times of lecture and times for congregational groups to discuss/apply concepts on their own. Questions/comments can be addressed via a chat box. If your congregation can’t join as a group to participate in the study, consider encouraging members to participate individually or in small groups.
When: Wednesday nights in September, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. (central). The same one-hour class will be taught at both times.
Who: Anybody! Groups or individuals can participate. While lessons are geared to groups, individuals are also welcome.
