Students On Another Road

SOAR is Emanuel’s high school youth group, meeting Wednesday evenings from 8:00–9:00(ish) PM. We meet in the Ministry HUB.

High school is an important season of life when students are asking bigger questions about life, their purpose, and where God may be leading them in the future. SOAR is a place where high school students can build friendships, grow in their faith, and talk honestly about the real-life challenges and questions they face in school, work, home, and the world in general today. Each week, we do team-building games and have a practical life-application devotion or discussion that connects God’s Word to everyday life.

Throughout the year, we will also have some special events, outings, and other opportunities like the WELS International Youth Rallies (every other year), mission trips, and various meaningful experiences that strengthen faith and build Christian friendships and connections.

SOAR is a welcoming place for students to be encouraged in their walk with Christ, connect with other teens, and grow together in faith. Friends are always welcome.
