She has been serving Emanuel since 2018 and was honored to complete WELS ministry certification and be called as a full-time staff minister of music in 2022.
In addition to her work at Emanuel, Kate enjoys supporting WELS music teachers. In 2020, she co-founded the Lutheran Institute for Music Education, which offers educational consulting to WELS teachers and schools.
Kate is married to Pastor Mark Tiefel, and they are blessed with three daughters. They enjoy hiking and camping, trying new restaurants and recipes, and spending time with their family on game and movie nights. She loves teaching the next generation to praise the Lord!
